USCIS Increases Premium Processing Fee

Today, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services ("USCIS") announced it will increase the premium processing fee for I-129 and I-140 petitions. Beginning December 2nd, the fee will increase from $1,410 to $1,440. In its announcement e-mail to stakeholders, USCIS said the increased fee "reflects the full amount of inflation from the implementation of the premium processing fee in June 2001 through August 2019".

USCIS originally announced the change would take effect November 29th but later clarified the effective date as December 2nd.
